The Sitz Spectrum sons selling February 18 at the ranch in Milton-Freewater, Oregon are what we call the cowboy’s kind. They are moderate framed, thick and have a lot of muscle expression in their rear quarter.
An interesting member of the pen of Sitz Spectrum sons is Kesslers Spectrum 4079. His dam is a full sister to the $22,500 Kesslers Cowboy Up 8029 – a maternal brother to Kesslers Commodore whose daughters have made great replacements in our herd and his sons have been at the top of multiple sales for owner MR Angus, Wheatland, WY. 4079 is a calving ease bull at +14 CED and -1.2 BW while still being in the top 35% of the Angus breed for weaning weight. Kesslers Specialist 4091 is a standout son of Sitz Spectrum, he had a weaning weight of 847, ratio 116. He ranks in the top of the breed for heifer pregnancy, weaning weight and yearling weight along with scrotal EPD. His young dam is a Kesslers Commodore daughter out of the very productive Lady 1545 cow, who earned the right to die here on the ranch and maintained a 10@365 day calving interval producing multiple herd bulls, one of which will sell this year in the pen of Pacific sons.
