The Spring 2025 Angus sale bulls are penned at the ranch now in their respective sire groups and the bulls will be sold Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Kesslers Freewater K171

Three of the Sterling Pacific sons selling are full brothers to Kesslers Freewater K171, our 2023 high selling bull at $26,000 to Krebs Ranch, Gordon, Nebraska.

Kesslers Wallowa 4013, a full brother to Freewater, is a Sterling Pacific x Connealy Black Granite. 4013 had an adj 205-day weight of 739. He has great growth EPDs, being in the top 10% of the Angus breed for weaning and yearling. View his EPDs here.

Kesslers Joseph 4028, a full brother to Freewater, is a Sterling Pacific x Connealy Black Granite. 4028 had an adj 205-day weight of 738. He has high calving ease direct at +12 while maintaining top 15% EPDs for weaning and yearling. He also has a +1.15 marbling EPD, ranking him in the top 15% of the breed. View his EPDs here.

Kesslers Tollgate 4103, the 3rd full brother to Freewater had an adj 205-day weight of 719. He has more moderate growth EPDs, hitting around the top 30% of the Angus breed mark, perfect for those operations that don’t need as much growth as they moderate cow size. His carcass weight and marbling EPDs are still top 25% of the breed, putting him in the top 10% for the $C EPD. View his EPDs here.

Kesslers Lady K063 – Sterling Pacific Daughter

Kesslers Pacific 4044 is a Sterling Pacific son out of a Frontman daughter that had a 10@365 day average calving interval. A full sister, Kesslers Lady K063, sold 1/2 embryo interest to Six C Land & Cattle. 4044 had an 80 pound birth weight and was 778 pounds at 205 days. The maternal quality alone is enough for him to stand on as Lady 1545 was one of the most productive cows we have ever had on the ranch, selling multiple herd bulls. View his EPDs here.

Kesslers Commodore 6516

Another interesting member of the pen of Sterling Pacific sons will be Kesslers Pacific 4058. 4058 is a maternal brother to ABS sire Kesslers Commodore 6516. His adj 205-day weight was 768 and he is in the top 25% of the Angus breed for weaning and top 5% calving ease maternal. He also ranks top 10% Claw EPD and 20% foot angle. Kesslers Pacific K093 – a pacific son from the same cow family as 4090
